Let me first off start by saying that I have been battling depressing for nearly ten years. No medicine has helped; in fact, it does the exact opposite for me and makes it worse. Therapy only put a dent in the situation and never helps for long.

That is until I got my puppy. He really does know when I have my bad days, and when those occur, he tries his best to cheer me up. It never fails to work. He does the goofiest things from time to time and never ceases to amaze me. I am really proud of him. So much so, that my parents brag about him. My father, who was a K9 officer, praises me on how well we work together.

The unconditional love that only a pet can bring is just therapy in itself. It is nice to know that he wants to be around me no matter how bad I am feeling or what ever else is going on.

Wynstan is truly a blessing I desperately needed in my life.

As a dedicated zoloft doser, I know exactly where you're coming from. They really are blessings.

I'm so happy for you. After I lost my first corgi, Pooh. I was SO depressed and unhappy. Nothing really made me smile anymore and I knew getting a new puppy so soon wouldn't make it better. When I was better healed, my mom kept pushing me to get another puppy and I kept saying I wasn't happy. As soon as I gave in and got Copper, everyone noticed the change in my moods. My ma said "It's good to see you happy again, and I told you so." They really are little angels that push us through everyday! They love us unconditionally and as long as you love them back, they're yours for life!
