Hi corgi lovers.  I just wanted to post and say that my Yogi my male red corgi had to be put down 7/12/12 because my  horibile neighbor put moth crystals on her lawn to try to get the canadian geese we have in our neighborhood, and it effected my Yogi and he passed even though he was still in excellent health.  I am still in mourning and missing him dearly.  Just wanted to share this.  I love you Yogi. you were the best corgi ever.

Oh nelly...I am so deeply sorry that that happened to you. I know how much you loved your corgi trio. Yogi was around for a very long time, and he loved you more than anything. I do believe that heaven includes being with our loved ones, including our dogs.. so you will see him again :) my condolences-Carol

This post left me speechless. I'm so very sorry for your loss!

We are so sorry.  A double tragedy insofar as they have poisoned their relationship with you, too.  This will be difficult to heal.  If this was an innocent mistake, howsoever foolish, it will be hard to remember that it was an innocent mistake.

I know I would have a hard time forgiving someone who poisoned my dog.

Do spend as much time as you can remembering the good times you shared.

I am so sad for you and sickened by your neighbors actions.  That is a vile thing to do, even if it was just the geese!

This is truly horrible!  I am so very sorry for your loss.  :(  I hate it when people aren't willing to accept that nature is both imperfect and a part of our lives.  I get so mad when I see people spraying their lawns with toxic chemicals and using poisonous substances in an attempt to keep animals off of their lawns.

Sorry for your loss.  There bound to be some law against putting poisonous material without warning!

I don't understand the obsession with having a natural looking lawn, and not welcoming nature in it.  I am very sorry to hear of your loss.  It is truly terrible.  Our hearts go out to you, especially when our little loves are taken away from us without warning, and always too soon.  Much love to you and yours.  May the geese fly over everyday, and poop on your neighbors driveway and house!

What a horrible, thoughtless person! Can she be held accountable at all? I am so sorry about Yogi.
