Does anyone feed ZiwiPeak? I feed Wellness puppy now, and Hank does great on it, but ZiwiPeak just seems like a better food. My only concern is the high protein content... I know corgis are prone to weight again. Any advice is appreciated!

I started feeding my puppy raw so ziwipeak would be close to that. I just watch her ribs to make sure she doesn't get to fat. But honestly it keeps them leaner, the higher protein content, since you are not adding unnecessary carbs to the mix. I looked at the ingredients and it has all the good ingredients that all the raw diet books say to feed. I personally am a fan of a more raw diet. In my nutrition classes in college we talked about how all the pet food companies came up with large vs small breed foods as a marketing strategy. My professor even starting feeding raw and loved it so ziwipeak would be a good choice! I would just watch the weight and you can decrease the food as needed. Just so you know when they start on this type of food they may not want to go back!

I personally would not feed that type of food to a puppy. Too high in protein at that age, IMO. Generally you want to feed a large breed puppy or ALS formula to corgi pups to keep them growing slowly to avoid any bone/joint issues.
