I think it would be normal if your dog were to get jealous. Like, when I play with Brian, Ein will playfully come between us. Then I give Ein and Brian attention at the same time. But, hypothetically, if he were to snarl, and get violent, then that just crosses the jealousy line. Just keep the same routine for your Scraper. You have to give as much attention (or even more) to Scraper than you give to your new pup. I hope this helps!

The first day Ein and Brian met, they hit it off. Ein was very excited to see another mammal like him in the house, hehe. Ein shared his toys, and even food! I do have to supervise them when they're playing, since Ein doesn't know when Brian is tired and wants to rest his fast pumping heart. They have been playing non-stop when they're not sleeping or eating. I'm so glad that they're getting along. Are you planning to get a male? Have any color in mind? :)

If you're interested in meeting with other corgis, there's a meetup on the 3rd and odd 5th Saturday at Shoreline Dog Park at 10 a.m. in Mountain View :) I see a couple of other people from the meetup here (Paddy and Emi) but it'd be fun to see you too! :)

Yes, I take Emi about once a week to Butcher Park--usually early in the week--since she goes to dog daycare Wed and Fridays.

Hi Vicky! Nice running into you and Scraper at the dog park :-) Hopefully they can play together soon. It's always fun to watch Corgis play together!

Paddy and I will be at the Mountain View meet up. It is a blast to watch the corgis play together and try to herd other dogs.
