"The course changes somewhat at each level. They start with Excellent, because that has the most stations, and all they have to do from there is remove and/or swap out a station or two. Each level has its own walkthrough, So it will go this way.…"
"Personally, I've found that Oliver needs at least a half hour of my attention to settle down. Less than take, he's nutters. E starts at 8:30 with (I'm guessing) a 15 minute walk-through. 4 dogs at about 2.5 minutes each. Another 15…"
"How early do I need to get there tomorrow morning?
Will anyone there say anything if I bring him in on a prong collar? So he doesn't try to play with every corgi he meets? ... I know he can't compete with it on (I…"
"He was in a class by himself...the only dog in Excellent A. So, we went home with the Blue. I always write our score and the class size on the back of each ribbon...keeps me humble. My favorite by far is the 3rd in a class of 9. :D"
"What size dog travel carrier is good for competitions?
My dog is lean and weighs 25 pounds. He is 28 inches long, 16 inches tall.
Would a 19"H x 20"W x 27"D be ok just for an hour at a time at competitions?"
I own (or am owned by!) Frodo, a black brindle and white CWC born in October of 2007; Crystal, a blue merle CWC girl born in October of 2008; also, five cats, including two that are 'working' cats (therapy pets).
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
About My Corgi(s):
I own (or am owned by!) Frodo, a black brindle and white CWC born in October of 2007. His full AKC name is Ffallian's Ring-Bearer. He is neutered and was not shown; the breeder thought he might have been show quality but chose to sell him as a pet. His mother is Ffallian Cajuns Cariad, and his father is Heart Of Gold Power Play. He's a good boy, healthy as can be, loves his kitty companions, but is a bit shy of strangers. No therapy pet work for him, unlike two of his kitty friends!
I also am now owned by Crystal (Hylane's Haunting Melody), born in October of 2008. She is spayed, not shown; she was being shown, but her breeder reluctantly decided she was just a bit too tiny and now I have her! She is now also a therapy pet, and recently got her CGC as well!
HI! love your cardies! those EARS!! who's your breeder? I'm considering a cardi next time around. Is there an update on the corgi for adoption? The Pembroke Welsh Corgi club of Northern CA has a Rescue group, FYI: www.goldengatecorgis.org
I had to come by and thank you for making a Rally group! I was thinking about it for a while now but never got around to it. lol A huge congratulations on the QQ in Novice for Frodo and Crystal. That RN title is just around the corner! Best of luck in all your trials and I look forward to updates in the Rally group! Take care! <3
I love the picture of Frodo in his Batman suit and the one where he's holding a beer. I have one of Finn licking a beer bottle (my friend encourages this so now every time she opens a beer he starts begging). Crystal is a cutie! I'd like to get a female Cardi.
