Al's VariKennel Intermediate is 32x22 and seems generously sized, but Lori says you want room for Rafa to lie full-length whilst pondering the destruction of your furniture. He's maybe 25# or more??
Gwynn's is Medium 27x20 and she lies crosswise way in the back. She's quite smaller.
I finally got on the mobile version of this app... I don't go online that much at home, and mycorgi is blocked where I work. Check out http://www.pwccsc.org/events.html and scroll to the bottom for info on the fun day. Hope to see you there!
Thank you! That video of your two playing is too cute! They are both very good looking corgis!
That's awesome! I haven't yet started the program. I'm still waiting to see where I get accepted. Any advice for a newbie? I haven't decided in what capacity I'd like to begin, but eventually I'd like to get my LCSW certification and counsel. What area do you work in?
heyyy i figured out how to make a survey to get everyones preference on time and location for corgi meet ups, and even which park you prefer. Click here to take the survey. Just two simple questions : )
Wendy...don't ever think we don't all have our days...like tonight i walked into my closet and found one of my best(and most expensive) shoe hanging by a thread where a strap used to be....hmmm...don't even know who:( and then there's the barking I don't know if it's the high winds but my dogs are just nuts tonight!!!!! Maybe they want spring as bad as I do!!!!!
Glad things are going well Wendy...we are keeping our fingers and paws crossed that things continue to improve...that's a lot of paw crossing at our house:)
Oh.....lol. I didnt notice. I thought you were addressing LaVerne herself. She has a better attention span than I do afterall. Thank you for the nice comments Wendy! My name is Tracey. I love your pups as well! What did we ever do BC? ( Before Corgis.....lol )
Looking at the photo but forgetting their names, I was speculating that Dylan and Emily might be monozygotic twins (presumably this occurs on canines). We were not allowed to pick Al. Carrie Hale picked him for us. She believe she can make some judgement about a pup's personality fit with prospective owners. We asked for a male and not one of the fluffies, but we didn't know who we'd be getting until she came to our home with Al. I sometimes wonder if she didn't consider how cool Gwynnie & Al would look together.
I admire the careful breeders' dedication to the breed, but I have to say that some of the best dogs I see in the neighborhood are mutts from the pound. Geneticists talk about "hybrid vigor", and it is a real phenomenon.
Here's a mix that's close to my "fantasy dog", border collie x Cardigan:

Thanks, Wendy. Now Gwynnie & Al are demanding a pool.
It looks like the new puppy passed muster with Rookie & Maggie.
Now Gwynnie & Al want a baby, too. I told them they're 22 years late.
Rookie sure looks like a big cuddly fellow.
He's under 2?
Nike Jr. 7" childrens' basketball. Or a volleyball. And a large fenced enclosure.
