Ty Geri and Sidney for the warm welcome. Love your profile page! Our girl Gwen is very sick. We're taking her to a internal medicine specialist today. Hoping for the best, fearing the worst.
Lol, I'm sorry! HE had surgery? What for??? School is well, lots of homework, but doing good! I got 6 A+'s last quarter, which is good! How was Thanksgiving for you?
Thanks for the welcome! I am always glad to connect with other corgi people. They are such wonderful little 4 legged people.

my best to sidney and his recovery. did not know he was having problems. my heart is with him, he is so handsome.
Hi, and thanks for the welcome note. Wally is the 5 year old and Rollie is the undocked 10 month old. It's so great to have Corgi friends from all over!
She is doing VERY well, absolutely full of it today. The ecollar I picked up at Petsmart was much better than the vet's, not that she liked it much better. It was lighter weight, see thru, and a little shorter, so she could move around and change her sleeping position. I'm not sure she can get to her incision even without the collar on, she barely can get to her butt. I think she's about done with it, and today we started with a 10 minute walk, at as sedate a pace I can keep her. Luv to you & Sidney! I am glad he's doing so much better.
How is Sidney doing now?? At least my situation is short lived!
I had asked the vet about those donut collars, and she said they don't work for most dogs as the dog can still reach the area. Actually, the cone at Petco - which has a padded collar, is see-thru and goes together with snaps - looks less uncomfortable than the one the vet provided. I may go check that out. Only a few more nights tho. Last night I fashioned 1 4x2 kennel area with her bed, which gave her more room than her 36" crate so it didn't make her immobilized. That was better than cramming the cone into the crate!
