WOW...that pic you commented on brings back memories...Rainy the dog on the right now lives in NewYork with Joanna, Rainy and Calvin:) I had promised her I would always keep her but she had some anxiety issues with being left home so Joanna's parents adopted her and she is a queen in her own household. They also adopted Calvin the Cardi from me and he lives with Joanna and her husband.
So where is Loretto MN? To awnser your question...personally I have almost always had 3 dogs. Depends on their personalities, space and if you have enough time. Mine get along great. I'll send you more info but I just got home from work and have to be back on the road by 6 am.
Thank you, we are head over heels already with him. Sami is adjusting better and better each day, not bad since the last 17 months she has been the only baby.
My sister has a huge male Great Pyrenees and when Radar was 8 weeks till now at 1 year they still play like your video. Radar will bite at his ears and legs an Pierre will be so gentle with him.
You have some good looking dogs of your own. Our adult samoyed died last April, he was 11 years old. We now have a 4 month old samoyed pup named Mallow.
It is so much fun watching the changes as they grow. Sami used to have lots of curly fur on her back near her nub, now only has a little (miss my little girls curls). We think Sami's marking are gorgeous but then we can't be objective LOL. When we look at pictures from month to month the changes amaze me.
hi Tina:) im glad to know that there are others with four animals lol my family thinks im crazy for having that much but i love them so much! are first dog, snoopy, is doing really well with teddy:) at first he avoided him but after two days and wanted to play and snoopy looked at me as if to say"is this ok mom?" lol after that they are the best of friends!! they sleep, eat, play, and just go every where together
What a cutie pie you have there! Be sure to take lots and lots of pictures and videos because they grow up so fast! Sami just turned one on Feb. 17th and I am so glad we took all the pictures we did because then I could put together a video of them following her first year. If all goes well we will be getting a second one later this year. Hey also welcome to the site, I just love it :)
Thanks for the friend add. Your pics are adorable!!! Love the puppy with the Samoyed (Im guessing), so precious!!! Thanks for your comment on Lance, we appreciate it. :)
We have hardwood, with a room-sized area rug in the living room. We have tile in the entry hall (a must!, since we come in the front door from walks with the dogs, who are often muddy or wet) and vinyl in the kitchen. I don't like tile in the kitchen because it's so hard and I have back problems, but otherwise tile is a good choice too.
The hardwood does get scratched up a bit, but it's easier to keep clean than wall-to-wall carpeting. They shed a ton and the vacuum fills up in a hurry just doing the one area rug.
Thanks for the nice comment on my photo of the dogs in the lake. That was a great day. We had just gotten Maddie a short time before and she was still not completely herself with us, but she loves the water. She's like a shark, and she had a blast. We finally had to drag her away, shivering and exhausted, because she would not quit! Can't wait til it's warmer so we can take her again.
