Thank you for stop by watching Dooby's photo and leave a message for us. ^^
I definitely vote for Cardigan, because I like it's elegant tail and two big ears. It's long tail won't perk up to the sky like we think a dog does, it just stay there nicely.
Dooby now is almost 3 months, he becomes clever and clever every single day, the down side is he is so mouthy, the bright side is he is clever, passion and sweet, he already knows a lot tricks and he will stay beside my feet quietly when I am washing dishes.
I'm looking forward to see your new pup, watch others corgi photos is my new hobby now. ^^
Hi Juel...Thanks for the friend add. The mystery picture is added! Were you there for the chat when I was talking of adding a picture of lance and couldnt yet and everyone was getting anxious? Well anyways its there. Its late, I need sleep. Talk to you later.. Nice talking on chat today!
Happy New Year, Juel. How are you doing? We are hanging in there....having a major blizzard today..just unreal...started last night and is expected to end tomorrow sometime. Hoping we don't lose our power! Poor Butter had to go out to use the facilities and came in coated with snow...his whole body was white. He normally LOVES snow but this was a bit much. Joy and Buttter
My parents want two pups and I will be getting one so that will be fun!Hopefully they will all be friends and everything works out next year to get them. Hope you have a great holiday! Yes the potty training worries me a bit but I plan to crate train so that should help. Riley learned quickly that way.
Thanks I hope you have a great christmas as well. I'm glad you made the tough decision corgi's are great dogs! I'm in the same boat you are in right now waiting for a breeder's pups to be born. So hopefully next February or March!! It will come quickly!
Rusty is a gorgeous Shepherd! I think you have a hard decision ahead...pembrokes and cardigans are both great! I like Pembroke's more because I like the stubb look lol Cardigan's come in such a variety of colors though and some have blue eyes! Type puppyfind.com and select the breed and then where you are from and local breeders come up...
Thanks, yes we had a great holiday. How's your search for a corgi? We recently attended the Florida Corgi Picnic and the majority in attendance were Pembrokes but there were a few Cardigans, and they were quite the interesting breed. If we lived in a place where we could have more dogs, we would probably be looking to add a Cardi to our crew too!
Hi Juel! How are you?!? I hope you have an awesome thanksgiving too! Thanks for voting for us in the calendar contest!!!!!!! Oh, and for that $10,000 contest - some chihuaha (sp??) won it. I was so mad because I asked for the standings/results afterwards, and they said they would send it to me. They never did, even after two more emails asking about it…. =T And of course, Bailey was so much cuter than that thing!! =X
Thanks. I had a fun time there. Things are getting better with time you know...and my kitties help make me laugh and I have fun playing with them. I do miss going for walks outside though. I wanted to walk my cats but there are too many dogs around we don't want to risk them gettting hurt.
I'm not sure about actual working ranches. but we do have "K-9 Action SPorts" and a big facility with bid pens of sheep. People from all over SoCal meet up and have sheep dog trials. There are other facilities in Riverside and LA counties.
I can't wait to see how Sid does. From what I've heard, corgis are great at herding cattle too. They can duck when the cows kick!
Hi Juel!
The fires are farther north than we are, thankfully! We have not even had any smoke, can you believe it?
The next opening for agility is in March, so we're continuing in obedience until then. We're also doing a sheep herd ability test in a couple weeks :-)
Sorry I've been gone so long....my husband has been very sick and we don't know what is going on. I am pretty overtired but trusting that God will look after us.
Don't throw out boxes...save until you have more time to go through them. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time.
What about the Cardigan breeder...I am dying to hear about the trip and to see pictures you took. When I am finished this note I'll check your page to see if there are pictures of Cardigan puppies on.
We had snow a few weeks ago...I opened the curtains and Butter looked out threw the patio door and actually barked...he was that excited when he saw white everywhere. He REALLY loves snow. It is too cute. Haven't taken any pictures yet because it melted after 2 days but I KNOW we will be having a lot of storms.
Take care, Joy and Butter
Hi Juel, The fall is pretty here but i like it better in my home province. Over the past few years we have been getting a LOT of snow...unbelievable. I got my 1st digital camera last year and every time we had a snow storm I would run to windows and take pictures. I have hundreds and hundreds of snow pictures. I love snow but start to get snow weary around February. We had a few snowflakes today...will have to get my winter tires on soon.
That is so exciting about visiting the breeder with your BF. Maybe if they can get enough people to commit, they will breed in the spring. SOmething to pray about, that is for sure.
Yes, life is full of seasons....I have been going through a dark one myself....being tested for lots of diseases and waiting for results and meanwhile the diseases I have getting worse through the stress of it all. I reached a point on Friday where I woke up and didn't feel like I could go on....but God keeps pulling me through. It is hard though but He never said it would be easy.
That is so exciting about your house!!! Wow, I wish you could tell me how to make beans...they are not so common here in Canada...so the few times I have tried...I follow the instructions but I am doing something wrong. I soaked them overnight, then boiled them for at least 4 hours , then baked in the slow cooker at high for 6 hours. I can't believe that it takes that long. What do you do?
How does your sister like being called "Joy". At times I struggle because it is a hard name to live up to. I wonder why my parents gave me that name because of the 4 kids...my life has been one of the hardest. I find it wierd when people want to put an "e" on the end. I tell them it is a 3 letter word, too funny. Another thing I get is "is it a nick name, what is your real name". I have a hard time convincing some people that it is a real, legal name. I have to laugh!! Good luck with moving in...do you really like being a domestic diva? Not for me!! hahahaah

How close are you in getting a corgi now?!?!
