Hi, Karen! It was great to meet you too! Unfortunately, the DM test on the Houston puppy came back At Risk. I was terribly disappointed. But, that said, I just got off the phone with Kathleen Mallery in Idaho, and she has a gorgeous red head tri girl 1 year old who sounds just about perfect. She's DM carrier, so she'll never get DM. All of Kathleen's dogs are tested and are almost all clear. I'll think it over for a couple of days, but I think she may be "the one"...I'll keep you posted. Love your photos!
Hi Karen! You will know when the time is right....I have not been online as much lately. Life has been a bit crazy. I have had shoulder issues for over a year now and finally got a diagnosis of Frozen Shoulder. I pretty much thought that was what was going on. Now I am in therapy as well. to bad that I can not have the therapy done at the same place Llyr does :-)
Hi Karen! How are you doing? A little sad here looking at all you wonderful pictures of Remy. What a beautiful face and smile he had. Llyr is doing pretty well. He is maintaining his core strength. I think adding an extra swimming session at therapy each week is helping. He has been a bit more anxious than usual at times though lately. He is happy, hungry as always and full of spunk especially when he is outside in his cart. Did Remy spend a lot of time in his cart inside?
Just looked at your pictures, what a cute adorable Remy he is, awe. I wanted to ask you where you got your wheels for him. I might have to do that with my Wrangler, he has an auto immune disease that effected his legs also, but i just went thru the stem cell therapy hoping that will work. But just in case i would like to know where you get those.
I'm so sorry for the loss of Remy. I enjoyed listening to the song you mentioned in your post and looking at all of Remy's pictures (of course with tears streaming down my face). You can tell he was truly loved! Remember all the good times you had with him. I dread the day my Noodles (he is only 5.5) is no longer with me because he is my shadow. I can't imagine my life without him and my world really does revolve around him. Thinking of you during this time.
Thanks for your comments. Buffy is no longer with us, in addition to her other problems, her liver was bad. She sure enjoyed herself though. Remy looks so happy! My daughter used to live in Leander but moved to Denver in June.
Actually that is very common with other breeds of dogs but with Corgis...it doesn't matter how many you have you are #1 in there world. I have 7 and no matter what room I go to they all follow me...makes it hard to get cleaning done. hehe Even outside..they can be wrestling and running around with each but if I get up or go to walk to the house they are right there with me. Makes you feel like your it! LOL
Welcome to MyCorgi Karen and Remy! Your pictures are really great! Remy, you are a handsome corgi with a great smile!! Your personality shines through big time. Thanks for sharing these great shots with us! I especially like your boating picture. All you need is an ascot and a martini! Well, and a Captain's hat, but I am sure you wouldn't need a silly hat to prove that you are THE Captain!
