@Natalie - I posted videos of my two corgis going at it yesterday. Have a look. Lucy snarls and growls, and looks vicious, but they are just playing and neither has ever hurt the other. They know how hard they can bite w/o drawing blood!

Thanks everyone for the responses, I appreciate it.  I just want to make sure that I am doing things right having two dogs, so that they always enjoy each others company.  I guess the rough housing makes me nervous but need to relax a bit. I dont sound like its getting out of control.  Its only been 2 weeks, this is all new to me having 2.

I agree with everyone: Total play. My boys do this all the time. (Looks like Lance is loving it!)

P.S. Your boys are getting along so well! Yay!

Total play.  I think it started with the pembroke not really wanting to play, or perhaps being offended that the cardigan initiated it, but then changes it's mind and gives in.  No worries after that.  I really didn't see anything aggressive except the corgi's body language in the very beginning.  The cardigan looks very submissive though, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.  The noises are typical play...

My boys also play like that all the time, and sometimes even rougher like Jane mentioned.  If you heard them you would think they were killing each other from the sound. Sometimes there is a minor fight but usually one just walks away and play time is over......until the next time

I has Daisy 6 & was a puppy mill breeder for the 4 years, so I trust her with this puppy, she has helped me allot set the rules...

The little puppy is 3 months- a few days ago they both jumped up on the lounge so wet from playing- it was all about using there jaws...  I think they are happy together- our dogs love playing in the morning & at night again- the lounge is a no play zone...

I am very happy for Daisy that this has worked out & they get along so well...  They are all still working things out, its only early days but like some one said if she gets real mad like when he tried to take a treat from her playing she will curl up her gums & show her teeth...  I am sure both your dogs were playing while defining...

@Natalie, Lance & Tucker - I just posted a couple of very tame corgi fighting with my 2. I have posted far too many photos of Lucy and RR fighting. But, if you have the patience, you can go back and see them fighting even when ricky was 5 mo. and lucy 5 yrs. now the tables are turned because he's twice the size of her. they never hurt each other. no blood. they know just how hard they can bite w/o hurting the other. Good luck with your 2 beautiful corgis!

That sounds like normal play. Sidney will give more of a snarl when he's serious.

@ David. I agree. Mine really get into it, but never hurt each other. Lucy, who's half the size of The Rafanator, is actually more aggressive.

This is pretty tame compare to my two knuckleheads.  Good to see tucker getting on well with Lance!
