The other day I forgot to push in the dining room chair and I caught my 8 month old walking around my dining room table. Sometimes it hard to scold when you are laughing.
Yep. Jeli does the same thing. I think I started it by teaching her "you're under arrest". She puts her feet up against the wall and I pat her down. But from learning that, she learned she can also stand up to see whats on the counters. She loves to swipe the dish towel. Luckily she can't really reach anything unless its hanging over. That doesn't make her give up trying though. Stinker!
Oh, what a brat! I'm always amazed when I hear about people's corgis getting things up on counters, etc. - that's supposed be one of the advantages of having a short-legged breed!! Fortunately it doesn't even occur to Chewey to try that (thank goodness, because he gets into plenty of other trouble outside the house). But it is hard not to laugh!
My 2 previous corgis had no idea that their length could help them reach things up high. BUT my current boy is as interested as Tucker as what might be on the counter. He just doesn't jump as high as Tucker. I hope he doesn't learn.
One of the many things I love about having a Corgi is her inability to reach the counter or table top. This little guy, though, is trying really, really hard!!!
Priceless!!!
such a bad boy!!! :O......too cute not to get a video of it at the same time though! We do tell him no when we see him doing this. Really need some nice weather for some nice long walks to wear him out, hes coming up with his own games!! Not acceptable...this would be very bad at a corgi picnic with a table full of food :O :O!!! Its just this winter that he has started this and we need to stop it!!!
A couple inches closer and he'd have them:) Maybe next time Tucker:)
Oh my....
Caught ya!
