I'm sure he will get used to you guys soon. I think puppies get more cuddly and less independant in their own eyes the older they get. Like a puppy thinks hes big and tuff and ruff and stuff. Then a little bit later they are like, ok I'm awesome... hug me, I know I'm cute... hug me and pet me and play with me and me me me... It takes time for their self confidence to grow in that way. He is still in a kind of new environment with kind of new people, he hasn't really been with people long term... will take a little getting used to...He will be all over you guys in no time! Just make sure he knows you love him and will take care of him whatever happens... Like at the vet... talk baby talk to him the whole time, and hold him close, and tell him everything will be alright, and it will be over fast, and give him a cookie or 2 when he is done... Tell him what a good boy he is and that he was such a big boy in the vet office... That's what I do. :D

Aww. Winston hated (and still does) getting shots but I usually brought along a small treat to give him right after the shot, it usually helped. My vet said he's actually really good with getting shots. He just sits there and lets it happen but he shakes afterward cause I know he's scared... I guess a lot of dogs will try to bite the vet or jump or something. But who knows. I think if you make it seem positive then he won't be so scared! But Ein is very cute! :D I'm glad things are going well!

we got our Ein back on the 2nd and it sure doesn't feel like its been a lil more than a week that he's been here.
I sure wish I could find out who had him beofre we rescued him cause he is well trained for what it is he knows and have to wonder why someone got rid of such a wonderful little guy.

Awww.... how adorable. I've had my Spartan for only a week or so too. Corgi's are so much fun. I just found out tonight that my Spartan doesn't like spongebob lol.

He's a cutie!! Congrats on your new addition. They're so much fun, but since they are such smart dogs, you really have to be sure you get them trained... Congrats again!
