Hi, everyone! I have a couple questions about the Kong for Tobi. Right now he has a little one, about the size of my fist. My aunt (she has worked at a vet for over 15 years) suggested getting a bigger one for him and she also said that putting peanut butter and yogurt in the Kong and freezing it for a little while would be a good idea and that it would keep Tobi entertained for quite a while. So my questions are: How big of a Kong would you all suggest for Tobi? (almost 7 months old) and have you ever tried putting yogurt in the Kong and freezing it? I would love to hear some feedback from you guys, thanks in advance!

***Oh and one more thing! What other types of toys are good for corgis? Tobi has chewed through just about everything (a plastic foot, ripped the fuzz off tennis balls, ate parts of a frisbee from PetSmart, and has ripped stuffing out of toys). What are some good, SAFE toys for him? Thanks again!

Thanks so much for the links!

My little guy devours the peanut butter in the kong in about 2 minute -- I would hope sooner or later it would keep him entertained but unfortunately it's a 2-minute toy for him.I use the small Kong for the time being.

I also freeze the kong as well as other rubbery toys. I do ice now and then as well.

I've found some 4-5 inch diameter toy basketballs with the nobby exterior tend to work well as they are larger than a tennis ball .. he fetches them quite easy and when and if they deflate if he's burst a hole there's nothing inside of danger.

Outside of that - -he burns through plushies almost weekly.

Yesterday he ripped open a rubber ducky squeaky and at swallowed the tail portion. At least I saw it pass OK :-)

I'm glad the Kong keeps Tobi busy for a while, lol. Plushy toys barely last a day with Tobi -___- he's crazyy.

We have the same size kong, and here is a recipe for the treats we put in it:

1 - 8oz. pkg of Plain Fat-Free Yogurt

1 cup of Peanut Butter

1 Banana

Mash it all together, freeze it in ice cube trays, stuff into a kong toy.  Mitzie likes it so much that she's actually passed out with her tongue still in the kong.

That sounds great for Tobi! Definitely gonna try that tomorrow! Thank you (:
