I just adopted an older female corgi. The poor old girl was left at a shelter, someone from out of state had dropped her off claiming he found her at a construction site, but the shelter said his story seemed a bit shady. She has a microchip but it was never registered. She is not in the best of health, she has several tumors on her (vet seems to think "fat" tumors but I am going to get a second opinion on them as some seem to not be in the right location for a fat tumor.I am sure no one else would have adopted her with all her lumps and older age.She is just the sweetest corgi and can't imagine anyone dumping off this poor girl. She know has 4 new corgi brothers and sisters and enjoys a new home in the country! Here is a photo of Sophie before I picked her up at the shelter.

Beth, thank you so much for giving this sweet girl a wonderful home.  I just don't get some people, you know?  Well, best thing for her in the long run because you found her!
I agree!  What would we do without people with great big Hearts!  They all deserve a great BIG THANK YOU!!!
What a sweet post!!   So glad we adopted Tucker, such a sweetheart.
