This older, overweight male corgi is in need of a home NOW! He is on the URGENT list and will be put to sleep if not adopted soon!! He is in Jay County Animal Control in Portland, IN. There is no adoption fees!!! I would take him but I have 4 corgi's already and the husband says "NO more dogs". -guess I need a new husband, lol!! "Prayers going your way. I would try calling around to some other vets. I had a corgi that HAD to have surgery or she would not survive. A few of the vets wanted $1200 to $600 for the surgery, I called around and found a vet that was an hour away…"

Profile Information

About Me:: I previously owned 3 welsh corgi's which I lost to old age, and have recently acquired 4 rescued corgi's. We have a 5 acre horse farm where we breed paint horses and the corgi's love to help out on the farm, especially when they get to herd the goats.

Welsh Corgi Breeder?: No

About My Corgi(s):: I have 4 adult corgi's (3 female, 1 male) that were all rescued from a puppy mill situation. All three females have been spayed, we are waiting to get the male neutered as he has been to ill to undergo surgery at this time. 2 tri-colored, 1 red & white, and 1 sable.
