hey,
what do you all feed your adorable corgis?? I have tried several brands, including Merrick and Innova (not the cheap pet store brands) and they always seem to end up with diarrhea. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Good choice. Thats what I feed my Chloe. She loovesssss it.
yeah they seem to love it too!! they have been doing much better potty wise the last couple of days ;)
Canidae is a very good food. No where around us sells it, so we had to find a different food. Pan was a picky eater, but when we got canidae that changed!
yeah same with my dogs!! i mix a VERY small amount of the wet food in with it, but they still will eat just the dry food by itself. i was very surprised! and it has been a week without diarrhea! YAY!
I have my pup on Canidae All Stages and he loves it. He also hasn't had any real potty issues since he's been on it, except for once when I fed him some treats that didn't sit well.
Good luck!
HI. I boil chicken legs and thighs along with carrots, celery, green beans and brown rice and lentils until the bones are soft and flexible and feed this soup to my 2 Pembrooks. When they finish eating their bowls look like they just came out of the dishwasher and they even lick the floor clean to make sure they did not miss anything.
This food seems to agree very well with them and they really like it. I also give them Greenies several times a week and frequent Milkbones and small rawhide treats.
We feed our little guy Canadae all life stages.
It is all natural and holistic but it comes highly recommended by many folks i have talked to and our guy loves it and has not had any issues on it yet and he is still only 11 weeks. Good Luck!!
I was doing a web search on Canidae and found this:

http://www.consumeraffairs.com/pets/canidae.html

Of particular interest was the advocate post on the top that spoke of storage containers leaching oil from the food that might contaminate the next batch of food and cause illness. I use plastic pet food storage containers and that really worried me. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

I would just keep it in the bag, but I have a cat that can bypass baby locks on cabinets... the dogs bribe him to open it and then there is a free-for-all feeding frenzy!

Will the plastic be okay if you clean it out between batches? Or if not, what can you store the pet food in that is safe?
We were told by the breeder to just keep about one weeks supply in a air-tight plastic container. There is fat in the food and it could go rancid. The rest of the huge bag, we put into smaller plastic bags and freeze it.
We also use Canidae for Seniors; our dog has a recurring bowel problems and since we have adopted him (6 weeks) he has been fine.
wow, i just read your post. I definitely will be washing the plastic container between emptying bags.
I only feed him kibble; don't believe in any canned food for pets or humans. In Canada, they have recently announced the danger of a chemical contained in cans ( I think it is Bisphenol A). It is especially bad if the cans are lined with a white plastic; this contains the toxic chemical.
Canidae sounds a whole lot cheaper in the US; here I pay $70.00 for about 33 lbs. I think this is double what it is in the US. If anyone can enlighten me, please do so. Thanks
Here, I pay $10 for a five-pound bag. I guess that would be just over $63 for 33 pounds, so it's not too far off!
I pay about $45 for the 40lb bag of Canidae. I feed six dogs so even the 40 lb bag doesn't last too long! I put the whole bag inside a container and don't empty it out. I had heard that it is good to keep it in the original bag. Love the Canidae and the Canidae Snap Biscuits.
