Mocha is the Jedi master in the house, his force is strong and not a whole lot of things in life can rattle him. His only nemesis is the Darth "blender".

Foxie has come to terms with the vacuum, thunder and even fireworks now that the pre-4th of July festivities have started. Over all she is a very quiet dog. What she goes spaz over is my ringtone on my cell phone. It plays Sweet Home Alabama for people I know and she's fine, but when someone I don't know calls and she hears Angel she starts barking; I guess she doesn't agree with my choice in music. Also, it's only when my phone rings, she totally ignores my husband and the kids and even the house phone.

Lately, she also reacts if my husband is rough-housing/playing with me or our daughter. She will start barking, running and jumping on Kik like she's our little protector. If Moe or I mess with Kik, Foxie will back us up...girl power!!
Rolo didn't seem to haven any nemeses, except for other dogs barking until this weekend. We have a bed and breakfast historical home up the street that does receptions and weddings. They had a horse drawn carriage with a white Clydesdale horse and as soon as Rolo saw it (from a half a block away) the only thing on his mind was... HOME...HOME NOW...LETS GO... HOME. He turned and ran so fast I almost lost the leash! We live a few blocks down and he literally RAN the entire way. I tried to stop him a couple of times to calm him down but he was so tense he was shaking! What's so bad... the horse didn't even see *him*... I guess Rolo (even having been born on a horse farm) hadn't seen anything this HUGE before and it terrified him. So this was the premier of Rolo and Clyde: The Saga of Evil Begins.

Sadie, however, has an ongoing battle with the electric can opener (she barks until it stops) and the shower curtain. I don't know if it is just that she doesn't like the sound the metal rings make on the metal rod, or the fact that her people keep going in smelling "great" and coming out smelling like icky flowers.
I took Brodie to an auciton with me this weekend thinking the social atmosphere would be good for him. He did great. Slept on my feet and loved on people so that was a success. We did encounter one evil item that set him off. A stroller. He seemed very concerned that there was a little person who needed doggie kisses trapped inside the sinister wheeled demon. He is a pretty mellow fellow, by the end of the day when they would pass by it would only merit a little "grumpf" out of him.
gosh but I love that indignant "grumpf" they do!!!
Lockett goes crazy if you cover your face. I'll get a blanket and get in the floor and cover my head and she goes nuts. She starts barking and runs to me and claws at the blanket and then pulls it off of me with her teeth. If you sit in the chair and just use your hands to cover your face you'll soon have a Corgi sitting in your lap.
Daisy is so brave and barks at every intruder. She is completely petrified of the VACUUM CLEANER. When I open the closet it is kept in she runs to hide. She also barks at brooms as though I beat her with them ( I of course never have and never intend on it).If we let her sniff the broom first then we can sweep.....
winnie doesn't mind the vacuum or most normal "dog botherers". what does get her going is the lint roller she barks and jumps as if to say "hey i worked hard on getting that hair all over you!"
very funny!
That is exactly what drives Penny over the edge! I can't use the lint roller near her!
Spencer hates "the purple monster"...our Dyson vacuum cleaner!
When I shut my rolling closet door in my bedroom, it sort of makes a strange noise, a bit like thunder. Buttercup thinks it is thunder and starts barking and barking. I have to go and reassure him.
Bunny rabbits in the yard.....Lance wants to go out and run with them so badly!
