Clutch is 6 and a half months old and for the most part has been house broken for the past two and a half months. He gets tons of attention and love all day long. We do "trick or treat" (tricks) every day, along with several short walks and lots of play time.
He never chews on things that don't belong to him (with the exception of my Halloween tree plug-in), he doesn't get in the trash and he doesn't beg for food. He knows the basic commands like sit, stay and down as well as several other tricks and commands. He is the best puppy we could have asked for!
All this being said I have no idea why he is doing what he has done today...
First let me say that two weeks ago I found a pee spot on our bed. Clutch is the only one that could have done it. It is highly unlikely that he asked to go outside and got ignored so I do not know what caused him to do this...
So, today I was sitting on the couch watching my boyfriend, Rob, play a video game and Clutch went up and sat in front of the tv. We fawned over him for a moment because he looked adorable pressed against the base of the television then Clutch got up and I could see a little puddle on the carpet. It was not a full on puddle, not like he just let go and peed in the floor. It was like maybe he couldn't hold it (even though he had just been out an hour before). We took him out and he used the bathroom outside like he normally would. I didn't think about it for the rest of the day.
Now, about 30 min. ago, I was sitting on the computer and Clutch was 10 feet away in our bedroom on the bed and I could hear a sound. I got up and ran to the bedroom and...it was the sound of him urinating on my comforter...again...
I have no idea if he is doing this for attention or if he can't help it and maybe has a bladder infection?
I would like to add that Clutch does have a jealousy problem with me and the computer. If I am on the computer for a long time (15-30 min. according to Clutch) he will sit beside me and corgi talk to me (occasionally he will bite at the chair if I ignore him) until I get off the computer or offer to let him sit in my lap. This does not happen with Rob, he can sit on the computer for hours and Clutch couldn't care less.
I wold like to hear what you guys think about this before I make him a vet appointment for something that could be totally behavior related.

It is unlikely that a young male his age would have a bladder infection. He may be maturing and, especially if not neutered, marking his space.
