I don't know but I think Clutch may have broken his foot. We have to take him to a vet now. I need to know he best way to move him. Any advice is appreciated.

How is Clutch doing now? Ten days later is he wanting to play or able to?????

Thanks for asking Steve. Also thank you to everyone who wished Clutch well.

It was about five days before he started to use his foot again. Yesterday morning he saw me go to the treat cabinet and launched himself off the side of the couch and hurt it again. I gave him a pain killer form the vet and he was walking on it again by noon.

The day he came back from the vet he wanted to play so we had a short little game of catch. The next day he wanted to chase toys on his three legs but we didn't let him do that.

Thankfully, Clutch has a game that he plays by himself every day. I call it "put the ball under something." Clutch takes one of his many ball toys and pushes it under the coffee table. His short legs make it hard for him to reach it and push it to the other side to get it free and then he puts it back under again. This game can go on for up to an hour.

Clutch has been doing well going outside and I have even seen him stand on his left back leg (thats the hurt one) and lift his right leg to pee. As for the walks we are just going from one end of the yard to the other. I think Clutch is ok with this for now.

Thanks again to everyone for their well wishes!
