My boyfriend Rescued Daisy the corgi a couple of years back I cam to live with her 1 1/2 years ago & at last she came on her own to me to put her collar on to go for a walk...

I applaud you for being patient. It does pay off. One of the dogs I adopted would not go in or out a door if my husband was there. She was very leery of feet (someone must have kicked her). It took about as long as it took you for her to trust that she could walk by him safely at the door and it was totally worth the wait. She now adores him and seeks him out for safety when she hears a thunderstorm brewing!
