2 Cuties in KY
Saw these two cuties a few days ago and have been watching to see if they get adopted - doesn't appear they have and this is a shelter that does euthanize. They are to go as a pair which is too much for my house; but I have had to fight myself not to go see them.

Aww, poor little guys. I hope they're able to find a home! If it is a kill shelter, maybe someone could alert the appropriate corgi rescue(s)?

I have looked on Ohio Valley Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club website and have sent an email to a member in Kentucky closest to the shelter, so I hope they can intervene if necessary.

I am going close to Lexington next weekend! But we are not in our house yet. I really hope they get adopted, but I may call and see what their status is and if they are not adopted by then I'll see what I can do.

Well, they can't go to a place with another dog (so looks like it wouldn't work for me). There is a person around who fosters. Maybe they would know of a place they could go. Poor things need to find someone who knows corgis. It says they are 45 lbs.

Got an email back already from people I contacted at OVPWCC and they have contacted the humane society and she plans to go get them Sunday. Soooo glad I got in touch with them. Sounds like they will be okay now.

That is awesome! I was worried since they need to be the only dogs AND it says no children, too. Glad they will be well taken care of from here on out
