We adopted Maggie a year and a half ago and were told she is a Corgi mix. She certainly looks like she is, but she is much bigger than a Corgi should be (very muscular and solid) with short hair. What do you all think? I'm thinking some sort of Shepherd/Corgi mix but I'm not sure. I've attached a picture of her.

She sure has the corgi ears, blaze and tail! How big is she?
She weighs about 52-53 pounds. At first we thought she was too big but the vet says she's fine as long as she doesn't pork up.

Also, it's hard to tell, but her legs are very short compared to the size of her body.

Edit: Here's another photo, you can see she only comes up to a man's knee!

There's definitely a corgi hiding in there somewhere. What a cute face and those ears!
Thanks! We got so lucky in finding her as a rescue. She is perfectly house-trained and very well-mannered with our two cats. She does have what I assume is a herding tendency when around other dogs, in that she wants to "manage" everyone and what they are doing.
That's definite corgi!
Could she have some lab in her, maybe?
She definitely could have some lab in her. She is 100% awesome, though.
Most people, when they see her, laugh (at her short legs) and ask what kind of dog she is. A lot of people have never heard of Corgis. I hadn't, before we got her. What a blessing!
Oh she is clearly mostly corgi! And Bear can't count the many times he's been asked "where are your legs?" tisk tisk
