We brought home a new "baby corgi" yesterday. We've named her Carys. I posted a pic of her earlier. We've all fallen in love with her. Wryn (our 4 year old corgi and my profile pic) seems good with her. Wryn has fallen into big sis protector role, it's kinda sweet.
Carys is 9 weeks? born on May 26. She's got really neat coloring...hopefully I can get a good full picture soon...she's got a dull red base, it looks more brownish than like Wryn's red, but she has a grey/sable dusting....I'm guessing she'll end up as a red-tri, but muted, she's beautiful. and she has an attitude!!!! definitely a Texas girl!!!! LOL!

this is an interesting discussion! looks like she might be a red, like Wryn, we'll have to see. If she is, there won't be much white at all I bet, 'cause right now, she's not got but a bit on her toes and her nose. :)

Congratulations on your new addition! She is adorable! Please post lots of pictures!
Awww! Congrats on the new ball of love!
Congrats on the baby! Nine weeks sounds so young to be away from her litter. I had always heard that 12 weeks was a corgi guideline. I would suggest doing a lot of socialization dealing with food and other dogs. Maybe Wryn will do some of the hard work for you. I can't wait to see the pictures!
she seems to be doing pretty well, but Wryn is helping alot!!! food is an issue, but it's an issue for Wryn too, so I deal with it. Right now I'm feed her completely separately then Wryn gets any left overs about 20 mins later, and there aren't many. I'm also going to switch her to Taste of the Wild.
Happy New Baby
