Thank you for the info! I would love her e-mail. I am actually looking for an adult but trying to get word out to breeders in the Pacific Northwest. I have one possibility lined up to meet in the next few days but he has never seen a cat before and I have 2 cats so I'm a bit afraid it may not work out with him. I'd love her contact info as a back up
I am thankful that there are people like you out there to give misunderstood dogs a loving home. My border collie mix found his way to our home becuase my sister-in-law couldn't handle him (however, her real reasons for wanting to give him up weren't revealed until after we took him), but I am so glad he came to us because I think if she would have given him to someone else, he would have ended up in a shelter or worse because he is a bit snippy and can be food aggressive. We love him for who he is and worked with/around his bossiness. My golden retreiver (who found us after she was at 2 other homes) can also be a bit fearful, and therefore aggressive as a result. We often joke that we are the home for wayward dogs. :) Merry Christmas to you too!
When we got Kirby, he was 8 wks old, and the cutest puppy I had ever seen! I, of course, wondered what he'd look like full grown. And, of course, now I miss his puppy days. Kota was a little older when we got her, so we didn't get to see much of a transformation with her-she just got a little bigger. Zeus definitely has a distinctive look, so I am sure you get comments and compliments on him. Valentine is also very pretty, and she doesn't look grumpy! (But I have a golden retriever who also doesn't look grumpy, but boy is she-so I know looks can be deceiving!) Merry Christmas to you & your family as well!
Thanks! I, of course, am biased, but I think they are the best thing since sliced bread! Zues is one cool corgi. I know I looked at his baby pics and was impressed with the size of his ears. :)
Thanks for the welcome. Love your 2 dogs. So i can expect his teeth to start falling out in a month he is wearing me out with chewing on me and everything insight
Gromit thanks you for the compliment, Suzi. That's a striking pair of Corgis you have there. How wonderful that you were able to rescue Valentine at the last minute! Zeus is a handsome fellow and that's quite a set of ears he has to grow into!
Zues is adorable! Kirby had to grow into his ears too. Luckily he did!
Yeah, mine are quite funny also. Kota is my funtime girl, and when we are training, she looks at me like, "Can't you just give me the treat and we'll call it a day?" Kirby is all business and looks at me like "What do I have to do to get that treat? OK, I'm on it!"
He is my second fluffy. I am eager to see what will be his final adult coat after it grows back out. I posted a picture of Randy yesterday showing his shoe debris. I have given him several old cheapy style athletic-type shoes and he spends hours chewing on the. I have to watch for things I don't want swallowed but he seems to love them. Have you tried shoes for Zeus. Randy is 9 mo. and weighs 35 lb. so we have big boys.
it definatetly is shed time, here as well. I used to use the furminator but stopped after hearing it pulling the fur out....eeks. My daughter brushed Lance outside yesterday and I think the birds appreciated it, as I saw them gathering in the yard yesterday probably taking all the fur floating around. I briefly used the furminator on Lance around age 2, and then stopped after only using it a few times!!

Thinking of you.
Suzi,
So sorry for your loss. You and your family will certainly be in my prayers tonight.
Suzi: So sorry to hear about your Valentine. Bentley and Chloe are sending lots of doggy kisses to you, your husband and Zeus.
I am so sorry for your loss Suzi :(
