I've read many references to the sanitary cut or trim, but I haven't actually seen what it looks like. Lili does often have muddy pants after lots of exercise, and I am quite tired of constantly cleaning her. I would change her diet if I could, but it's not an option. If I could just see a photo of what this trim looks like, I could make our lives a bit easier. Bum pictures, anyone? (Adult dogs only, please. I don't want any puppy porn here!)

A hygiene clip is basically just taking the clippers and going from her butt all the way down the pants to create a little path of clean shaved area. I don't have a picture unfortunately. Kirby was clipped from his neuter and I just kept that area clipped for a while because he had giardia and so had horrible diarrhea. Its really an easy clip to do. An idea would be to take him to a groomer and ask for a sanitary shave or hygiene clip so you can see what it looks like, then you can do it yourself from there. Some groomers will trim the pants as well to clean it up a bit. I couldn't find any pictures when I googled either of them. Its basically just shaving the butt and inner most portion of the legs/pants to create a nice little path which is easier to keep clean, and also trimming up any extra feathering. I shaved down Kirby's chest and belly as well because in the colder months he had a very thick/longer coat that was constantly getting covered in mud and sand.

Seanna's due for her "brazilian wax" next week.  I'll take a picture when I get her home from the vet and send it to you.  Basically it should look like a bamboo's butt.

Brazilian wax that is funny!  When I take Tobey to the groomer for a thorough bath I tell her when he needs some 'man-scaping' which must be the male version of the Brazilian Wax.

Thank you.
