I'm considering adopting a 2-month old adorable Pembroke. I've never had a Corgi before, and I just had a question. From the picture I have he looks healthy, but his breeder advertised as "Marked-Down $300!". Is he unhealthy? I think he may just be the runt, should I look out for anything? The breeders have had very good reviews in my state, so that's not what I'm worried about. Any pointers would be so appreciated!

Don't be afraid to ask any questions of the breeder- even if you think it's too many or even if you think they may be insulted. A dog is such a long time commitment and money drainer, so getting the healthiest pup you possibly can is a good thing. My pup's price was marked down a few hundred because his testicles didn't drop and it will be more expensive to get him fixed, just like Sam mentioned. I think I probably was a pain, but I asked as many questions as I could think of: a good breeder will answer ALL of them, and honestly too. Good luck!
