As soon as she has all her vaccinations, take her for a walk outside. The pavement will wear off the sharp points on her claws. If you like, you could gently file the ends of her claws (good luck!) with the very finest side of an emery board.
House-training is always a challenge. I gather this is especially true of corgis, who have a mind of their own. Be patient. I've had puppies get the idea literally within a few hours and puppies that took weeks to train. Ruby the Corgi Pup had a urinary tract infection -- turns out corgis may be prone to those -- and trained up quickly as soon as some antibiotic treatment resolved the infection. But before then...wow! Get a big bottle of enzyme deodorizer from a pet store or Amazon (be sure it really is the enzyme stuff) and have it on hand to squirt on areas that you've cleaned up. Doesn't stop the dog from going back to the spot, but at least you can't smell it. ;-)
Best house-training aid (assuming someone is around to let the pup outside once every hour or two) is an X-pen.
I trim pups nails once a week. Do you know how to? I'm sure there are youtube videos that will show you what to do. Just be very cautious so that you don't nick the quick and make it a bad experience for the pup.
Potty training - are you using a crate? Take her outside immediately after getting out of the crate, wait for her to pee/poop and have a big lavish party over her wonderful accomplishment. If she does not go, no party and no play. Just back in the crate for another 15 minutes. Then try again. That's another thing you can youtube for advise.
Best of luck with your new baby!
