Grover, just in the last few weeks, has been slow to eat his dinner and breakfast! That has never happened before! He usually bolt for the kitchen when you say "Dinner"! We feed him Canidae ALS and when we first started on it, he LOVED IT. Now he's doing this. He does eat but just not as excitedly as he used to. I bought a bag of Wellness Puppy today, I'm thinking of switching to that. But do dogs usually just decided they don't like a food?? Is he tired of it?
I've research Wellness and it seems like a good food and they have it at PetCo here. I have to go to a specialty store for the Canidae, so Wellness would be more convenient.
What do you guys think? Does your pooch ever just decide they hate thier food?

Some days my dogs have more appetite than others, that's for sure. Actually, my lab/dane is always hungry but Sidney and Bruce are more particular. I think they are less likely to be hungry when it's warm out.

I've heard some folks say it's a good idea to switch out the food every now and then.

Sidney is on Wellness Core Ocean and likes it pretty well. He is slow to eat but finishes his food.

Bruce is weird. He's on a special diet for reduced kidney function, but he did this with his old food (Canidae platinum) too. He'll take a bite, walk around the kitchen/dining room counter, then come back for another bite. Over and over. I don't know why, but eventually his dinner gets eaten. Unless it's hot and he does not feel like it.
