low cost or homemade costumes

Hi! I would like to dress up our corgi for his first halloween - he is full grown. Does anyone have any ideas for a homemade costume? I need a very low budget idea!

I think Walmart has dog costumes for just $7.99 :)

I think fairy saddles are so cute on corgis. Just get some felt, cut in shape of a saddle. Sew elastic big enough to slip under your dog's tummy. Glue on some artifical flowers.

Another idea is if you have a $1 store in your area, go there. You can find decoration there for only a buck each.

I would say go to good will or another thrift store. Look for cowboy gear. Bandana's, maybe a leather belt that can go around his little tummy, or even a childs cowboy hat that you could fit with a string to sit on his head :D Dollar stores are also great for children (or Corgi) outfits for cheap ^^ Hope this helps some!
