Charlie Bear has an upset tummy today. Daddy left him in the laundry room with the dog food that he is obsessed with guarding. When Daddy went back in to make Charlie come out, he had his head buried in the bag! Needless to say, he vomited several times in the middle of the night and now he has mud butt. He looks like he swallowed a watermelon!

On the bright side, he hasn't gone near the dog food at all today! Hopefully, his obsessive guarding of the food has finally ended.

Oh, poor Charlie Bear! I wonder if he'll ever eat that brand of food again?
Poor Charlie...hard lesson to learn, but it did make me giggle. Hopefully he will be none the worse for wearMy guess is it will be a day or two and he will be back to guarding the bag!. When I bring a new bag of dog food home If I leave it out in the kitchen and not put in the pantry, Fergie will stand guard and growl at any of the pack that come too close. Yesterday she was guarding an empty bag that I set by the garbage. They do make us laugh and worry and cry!
While I have to admit that I giggled quite profusely at your comment of Mud butt, I am glad to hear that Charlie is doing ok. A common corgi nick name is HOOVER, and they do just that. They are also VERY well known for eating until they explode *unfortunately somtimes literally* if left around improperly stored food. And while he might remember the day after that eating that much is bad for his little belly, he might not remember so much a week or a month from now. I would invest in a cheap 5 gallon bucket *think a laundry detergent bucket thats been washed out real well. Two uses in one bucket!* Or something else that is impenetrable when you aren't looking.
