Our Midas has a mild ear infection in his left ear. We are on eardrops for 2 times a day for 2 weeks. Is there anything else we can do for him to soothe his ear? He is shaking his head and scratching lots! Also we were wondering if ear infections are more active in corgi's than other breeds? If anyone has some input, it will be much appreciated!

You can get an e collar to prevent him from scratching. I don't think their ears are more prone to get infection, remember to put some cotton ball in their ear then proceed to wash their ears during bath time. Good luck!
Often times ear infections are caused by allergies to grain. Does you dog food have grain (corn, wheat, glutens)? My dog is allergic to grain but he gets terrible mud butt instead of ear infections. Grains also encourage yeast infections in the ears.
