names for a new female corgi!
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get a new girl sometime soon...the only name i have in mind that i really LIKE would be "iris" but i am not sure about that...Suggestions anyone?...remember A GIRL NAME :) something cute,and different

Sometimes you have to live with a dog for a few days and then a great name will come to you once you know their personality. Our dog Jack was called "No Name" for 10 days after he came home. J.A.C.K. stands for Just Another Corgi Kid...it stuck!
Iris is very cute by the way. I love human names for dogs. :)

I think the name will come to you when she comes. Iris is a beautiful name. If you like it, you might like similar names, like Isis.
When I got Ofelia, I thought of these names: Penelope, Fiona, Sancha, and Lux. I knew she was Ofelia when I brought her home.

How about Lily? How about having several names in mind and trying them on when you have her and see how it fits and sounds when you call her. Have fun with it!

How about a good Welsh name like Genevieve (i.e. Queen Genevieve) from those King Arthur books? That's were we got Merlin's name - his registered name is Prince Merlinus).....
