So scraper is about 7 months old now and for the last few months he has been 100% going to the bathroom outside. He always goes and sits by the door and barks for us to let him out. But recently when we take him outside he doesn't want to go. He just sits at the door starring out, or he'll walk on the cement and avoid the grass. It's been a struggle to just get him to use to restroom recently. A month ago it was raining and he avoided going outside and went to the bathroom on the cement which is fine but today it is sprinkling in San Jose and he will not go outside at all. He'll walk around on the cement and smell around and come back inside before I even tell him to. I'm okay with that but he hasn't gone to the bathroom for a good 7 hours so I keep trying to get him to go to the bathroom. After a countless amount of times I come back in and I'm on my computer and I see him laying there in a awkward position and I call his name and he gets up and I see that he pee'd! So I quickly take him outside and tell him "pee here" but hes already done peeing so we come in for after a few minutes and I clean up his mess and then he poops inside the room as well!

Some advice my fellow corgi owners? How am I going to get him to go outside to use the restroom?

That is so strange...my Bella is also 7 months old now....and she also did her business outside for months with no problems. Just 2 days ago I caught her peeing inside! Maybe when they get to this age they just forget what they have been taught. Any advice from anyone would be helpful for both of us :-)
Well I'm not sure what's going on with Scraper, but I can tell you it sounds similar to my Theo. He hates going outside when it's wet. It doesn't matter if it's raining or not. If the ground is wet Theo will walk right to the threshold of the door and then turn back when he sees the ground is wet. Hehe. He won't go out, no matter how badly he has to go. One time he kept trying to get in the garage so he could go in there. Maybe this is what is going on with Scraper. I'm not sure what the solution is, unfortunately. Usually I just walk Theo around until he finds a spot that doesn't offend him. Hehe. Good luck!!!
