Licking the carpet.

I have 3 corgi's. Huckleberry, my oldest at 9 yrs young constantly licks the carpeting. It doesn't matter where it is--- living room, hall, (i can understand the kitchen), den. Does anyone have a similar experience??? Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Huck is the one in the front.

Hi Erin!

Lance is also a carpet licker!! When we first brought him home at 14 weeks he would lick the speaker on the tv, luckily we were able to break him of that habit, but not the carpet for some reason. He also loves to lick us to death our hands, face, and our pillows if we let him on our bed which is usually not often, just in the mornings and he would obsessively lick our pillows or our face. Not sure why he does this either, sorry I cant give you any explanation. But at least you know you are not alone!

Yes!! Oreo does the same thing!! I can't see to get him to stop...lol. He licks it constantly. He also licks us all the time! Hands, arms, legs, feet, he doesn't care...lol.

Thanks everyone for the replies. Huck also licks my duvet cover, not the pillows. Your peps might lick that because it smells and tastes like you. How sweet.
