Spring Meetup in Illinois?

Is anyone interested in an meetup sometime this spring (or summer)? If so, do you know of any place we could have it? My only ideas are starved rock (since it's kind of central) or some dog park around chicago. I'd invite everyone to our house but it's not fenced in :(

I like the idea of starved rock, the only thing is is that we wouldnt be allowed to let the pups run and play :(

Not a clue. My dachsie group meets up in Chicago at this place called The Barking Lot. Its an indoor facility where the teach agility and other things. I guess we're gonna have to shop around for some Corgilicious places!

Hmm....maybe Pawsitvely Heaven Pet Resort...in Chicago Ridge, Il. They do host birthday parties there so maybe they would do group get togethers too!!

I have been to the Howl-O-Ween Party there this past October for the first time and it was so much fun! : )

ummmm....they do rent out the facility. I dont know how much but I do know that when we attend the dachsie meets its $5 per dog to get in...

Hi everyone,
I checked into a possible meet up location today at my local pet spa. We have boarded Spencer there, taken classes and groomed him at this location. The people are wonderful and the facility is awesome and is located in Chicago Ridge, IL.

We can rent a room for 25.00 per hour. We would be able to bring in our own food, treats and we would have access to their fenced in outdoor area as well. They rent these rooms on Sundays only and all dogs would have to show proof of rabies, distemper, bordetella vaccinations and a fecal flotation-which checks for worms and parasites. They require this proof for the protection of your dog as well as other's.

I did not secure a date at this time....I want to see if there are enough people interested. If you are, please contact me via my page here. We can all pitch in for the per hour rate......the more the merrier!

Awesome Jenni, that is really cheap :) I am in for sure (depending on what date everyone chooses of course!). I know right now I cant do Feb 28 or March 7th (dogsitting a lab that whole week)...but I think all of my weekends are free after that. Oh and this is really stupid, but what kind of proof do they need for all of the vaccinations? Receipts from the vets or is there some official thing you need to have signed by someone? I have never had to show this so I am not sure!

depending on the weekend we might be in... I know we are busy two Sundays in march right now. ok got to run Winnie is trying to climb onto the computer.
