Can your dog catch?

This may be a silly question...but should all dogs be able to catch? Our two older dogs have no trouble catching treats tossed at them, but with Sidney, he just lets the treat bounce off his forehead! I wonder if it is a matter of age, or does our baby lack depth perception? It's comical in a way, but I can't help but worry a little. He's 16 months old.

Can all your dogs catch treats that are tossed at them?

Well, I'm happy to report that Sidney is now starting to catch treats out of the air. Yay Sidney!

We don't give our dogs treats but LO is awesome at catching balls, he could go for hours.

We have one of each... Brody can catch anything (but really only does it for treats), but Lilly just lets it bounce off her head / nose / back, whatever and then picks it up. I guess she just doesn't get it, or doesn't care to.
