LOL that's hilarious!!!!
Yep, little mini barks and grunts with twitchy eyes, mouth, and feet. So cute.
Nala doesn't, but my rattie Cosmo does. She makes a sound like "boop, boop, grrrrrrrr boop boop" and her cheeks inflate. I thinks it's funny. But sometimes, she does it so loud that wakes me.
Duncan has howled in his sleep. Of course, we're asleep at the time, too! Scares the crap out of you, let me tell you!!
You can tell when they're dreaming -- little fits and starts, and you can feel their eyes moving (REM sleep, Rapid Eye Movement). Dreaming about food, of course.
My 1st ccorgi always did it and also his feet twitched like he was having a dream. Archie does it but rarely and Reggie does it on an almost daily basis, that might be that he is still tony (4 months old) and is trying to rationalise his day.
I haven't ever seen Gus do it but last dog Susie, a mix, did it all the time. While sleeping she would bark and twitch her legs like shes was chasing rabbits in her dreams.
