My 6 month old corgi still has just one baby tooth left. Its on the top so I don't know how long its been there, but the adult one is already half-way in. I noticed it a couple days ago and it doesn't look like it has changed. Do I need to take her to the vet or wait a little while longer and see? I don't want to do anything myself...yikes!

That very same thing happened to LaVerne. I called my Vet and they said to give it more time but if it bothered me they could pull it for around 100 dollars. Well....that prompted me to take matters into my own hands. I got her Wubba and started playing with her. I would let her get the Wubba in her teeth and I would try to guide it so she would bite down with her existing puppy tooth and then I would tug. Not real hard but firmly. Lots of little tugs. She loved the game and before I knew it the puppy tooth was loose and it came right out and no harm to her permanent tooth. I then took the tooth to my husband and asked for 100 dollars. He thought not......lol. Oh well...worth a shot!
Anyway.....hope this eases your mind. Let me know how it turns out and good luck!
Has she been spayed yet? Our vet said to let all teeth come out on their own then when Finn came in to be neutered they would check to make sure all puppy teeth were out and pull any that were left behind while he's already under anesthesia. By 8 months when Finn was neutered he had no puppy teeth left so it all worked out.
My Ethel had two canine adult teeth that erupted right next to the baby teeth, and no matter what I did (chewies, toys, etc.), those baby teeth were there to stay. So when she was spayed at 6 months, the vet removed them while she was under anesthesia. It's pretty common, really. If she's already been spayed, or you're not planning to do that, you should keep an eye on the teeth, as you don't want the baby tooth to cause issues as the adult comes (with bite and shape of mouth etc. -- I don't think anyone has come up witih doggie braces yet, lol). If you really can't get it to loosen up and come out, you may need to get the vet's help, eventually.
