Nervous/excited poo?

Here I go with the poop questions again! :) When Stanley goes to the dog parks, he always poops and it's always a messy, kinda runny poo. I'm guessing it's because he's either nervous or excited to be around all the other dogs? My main concern is that it's kinda messy and gets all over his "fur pants". It's not a whole lot of fun to chase your dog down so you can wipe their butt. I'm planning on getting his fur trimmed down around his backside which I hope will help with cleanup but any other advice on how to curb this?

Hi Jenny, a good food should produce solid poop, you can also try pumpkin in a can., it'll give the poop more shape.

He's almost 8 months old...

Well, he eats Wellness puppy food. His poop is usually pretty decent, it's just at the dogs parks that it seems to happen or if we go somewhere new. Maybe it's riding in the car? I just think he gets very excited. He loves going places.

This happened with my dogs when they were younger. They get excited an poop several times. It gets better with age, at least it did with my two corgis.

Cloud gets the runs when we go either hiking or to the dog park. Not sure why, maybe he's exerting himself more than normal and causes a cramp which then leads to runny poop. Oh and Cloud, our Weim, is almost 2 and still does this. Freya never had that issue.
