Freckles

Does anyone elses baby have freckles on their little tummies? Sami just loves to have her tummy rubbed.

Randy has freckles on his tummy (so does Leo). He also has spots on his paws (pads), inside his mouth, and on his cute little face. Big brother has the same traits. I have always heard (old wives tale I'm sure) that spots inside of a herding dog's mouth is a sign of intelligence. Hopefully spots on tummy, paws, etc. means extra smart! Randy won't hold still long enough to get a picture of his belly.

I don't have a picture, but yep Harry has the same speckles on his belly, paws, inside his mouth, and on his nose. I think you can see them on his baby picture. Never heard that thing about the freckles in the mouth being a sign of intelligence. In Harry's case we think it must be true : )

Only way I could get her to hold still for the picture was to RUB the tummy! Sometimes she can be really excited playing and all I have to do is rub that tummy mom and she will stop and roll right over for more. I just love her freckles and everything attached to them. She is just such a joy every day to us all.

Because of Leo I think, Randy does not present his tummy for rubbing yet.l I think he is worried about exposing his delicate underbelly to dogzilla. I hope it does not mean he has submission issues with me so I hold him and rub his tummy, which he does like.

Sadie only has a lot of hair on her belly, no freckles. Although she has a few on her nose, and one on the tip of her tongue!

I noticed that Sami is getting more hair on her little belly. We took her to the vet on Sunday for her next set of shots, she is all of 9.9 lbs. Our scales must be off thought she was at 11 lbs. I guess 9.9 isn't too bad at almost 12 weeks. She is doing just great, our vet said something about how she likes to put the stitches for spaying mostly on the inside so they can't get to them as easy as the outside. Will talk to her about this more in June. Sami won't be getting spayed until the first full week of July. Hey the freckle on the tip of Sadies tongue must be really cute. She is just to adorable looking!

Tiida has freckles on her tummy... but for some reason, she doesn't seem to like to be rubbled on her tummy.... I wonder why... I thought all puppies love tummy rubs...

Barkley has freckles on his tummy and underneath and inside his mouth. He looooves to have his tummy scratched and rubbed.

Leo loves a good tummy rub. Randy must be ticklish because when I rub his tummy his little leg goes like he is scratching..it is really cute. Poor Leo gets pounced on by little bro now when I try to rub his tummy...one hand holds Randy back and the other does the rubbing.
