My Mom is going to get the Pedi Paws so I'll test hers out and if it's no good I think we'll get the Peticure. It's more expensive but if it works it would be worth it.
What brand do you use?
I haven't bought any at this time. I have been clipping Zoeys nails myself using clippers but she acts like I'm hurting her and she shakes so much that it makes it hard to trim them.I get afraid that I might hurt her sometime.I have been getting more positive feed back than negative about this product. Thanks for your comment.
Hmm, I wonder if it's the Peticure. That's one seems to be popular.
Gosh, your lucky. If only Zoey would fall asleep and wake up and it would be over.I'd be on cloud nine. I guess it would be alittle annoying though if it was too a long process. Do you have to replace the wheels very often?

No, I think I've only replaced one or two of the sanding bands in the 18 months I've used my Dremel. They are not expensive. A pack of around 5 only costs a few bucks (less than $5) at WalMart type stores. I use the sanding bands. They fit on a round drum.
That doen't sound bad at all. Thanks.
I use a Dremel on Rosie and Rocky. I had a rechargeable one but didn't like it. It wouldn't hold a charge. I returned it and got a corded one. I love it. The dogs don't mind it at all. Rosie just sits there or flops on her back. Rocky likes to lie on his side. Take plenty of time to get them used to the noise. I would just turn it on several times a day and let them listen to it and look at it while they got treats. When they were comfortable with that, we'd do one nail and treat, another nail and treat. If they got too wiggly, I'd quit for a bit and go back to it. Didn't take long and they were very relaxed during it. Rosie does doze off sometimes. They always get treats after we are all done. I did this also when I was training them for the toothbrush. They love to get their teeth brushed. The dog toothpaste must be really tasty. They push each other around to be first when the Dremel and toothbrushes come out!! The Dremel goes faster than the pet grinders so it doesn't take as long. Also, you can get the sanding papers anywhere like WalMart, home improvement places. Do get the corded model so you don't have to worry about losing the charge midway through the job. I wouldn't waste my money on a pet type grinder. I've heard they don't last and take a long time to get the job done.
I've never heard of a Demel. I'll will definately have to google this. It sounds like you went things the right way. I always have to remember that dogs think with their stomic first.I'll try to clpi her nails a few more times first (with plenty of treats ) but if all else fails I definitely appreciate your input about what is the best tool to use. Thanks for your comment.
Eddy hates vacuum/hair dryer/lawn mower, doesn't mind pedipaws unless it slips or grinds rough or something, hates nail clipper.
Thanks for your comment. I'm glad to hear such good feed back about this product.
