I was wondering of some ways to keep Louis's body healthy, in terms of his hips and legs and back... He's a really really energetic dog and always jumps up on things like the bed and down from them too (and trust me it worries me all the time) I try to carry him up and down from things but times like when we're on the bed and the doorbell rings, off he goes! any suggestions?

I have seen people put up some makeshift stairs beside the bed , desk , etc. They used a box with a blanket on it .I thought it was really cute that they had them everywhere in the house , it looked more like it was the dogs house and made me smile :)
I don't know how old Louis is, but you do want to watch out for too much jumping (it's always the landings that hurt - even for the dogs!) before his growth plates fuse (around 1yr). Those cute stairs that people make, actually help. While it is practically impossible to stop a corgi puppy from ANYTHING, especially chewing!, helping keep those joints healthy is preventative maintenance. My cardi's take glucosamine, as well.
