New food question! Orijen 6 Fish Dog

Hi all,
I have just recently switched Monty to Orijen 6 Fish Dog. I already feed him a little pumpkin and a probiotic each day because he has a history of runny poos and we just moved so his stress level is a little high. Anyway not to sound weird but I noticed a large decrease in his poop output and wanted to see if anyone else had any experience with this food. He was on Wellness Whitefish before. He also only seems to want to eat it once a day so I give him 3/4 a cup at lunch only. Thank you for any advice.

Yes, higher quality foods produce less poop! YAY!

Higher quality of foods will do that. There is less waste. The probiotics is excellent to give since it adds in keeping the intestines healthy and aiding in maximum absorption of good nutrition. They say the best form of probiotics is if they have an expiration date.

Thanks for reinforcing. Yes the smaller poops has been great and he is liking the food though still only eating 3/4 cup once a day but seems ok. He gets high quality treats during daily training and walks as well so he isn't begging. Not ready to go raw yet so happy this kibble is working out and it really is more cost effective!
