How does your corgi feel about the heat?

Ever since Oscar was a puppy he was not a fan he would lay across our air conditioning vents and keep cool! I was wondering if this was just him or if all corgi's were really more winter lovers.

In California it gets super hot also, and another idea you could do is fill a liter of soda bottle with water and freeze it, they love rolling it around and sometimes Sadie even sleeps right next to it!
Oh I'll have to remember that!
Loki moves slowly at anything over 25 centigrade, and pants a lot, at 20, but will walk for a bit, he just eventually sits and tells me time to go home.
When I got Bertie as a puppy it was in mid-July, in 2004, a summer when NY city had tons of 100+ degree days with unbelievable humidity. We would walk out of my building's front door, go about 3 feet, and Bertie would just keel over on to his side, panting and shooting me "carry me!" looks. People would walk by and say, "oh, poor little guy, he must be soooo tired!" I just couldn't explain he'd only gone 3 feet.... Needless to say, he loves the winter and the snow! Now we live in CT, and I just put in central AC, so will be interested to see if he huddles around the vents come August (or whenever I actually turn it on).
I think the black fur on the tri coat gets so hot - they can only stand the heat and sun a few minutes. Charlie's black fur heats up much quicker than the red and white coat of the other two dogs but they all love the AC vent in the kitchen the best.
Eddy will play in the hot sun, but then act like he's about to keel over any second. I'm like, "Back to the car...?" and he still is ready to keep walking and exploring, but all the while panting and stopping to lick every puddle or blade of grass and stopping to collapse on the trail for a 5 second break. Even when he knows I have his water bottle, he wants to lick the puddle... sigh. We also have no A/C, which he tolerates by sleeping all day.
Cooper will be one year old on July 1.He loves water. We bought him a dog pool for $8 and he just loves it. He dries fairly quickly and we keep a towel by the back door. His other favorite spot is just under the end of the bed on the hardwood floor. Likes to stay cool but is always up for a game.
I want to get Oscar a little pool and see how he likes it. He has been in the water at a pond and did ok and we went to a local beach but he was not a fan of the waves. He also seems to only tolerate baths and not love them. We will see if he is the swimming type yet!
Lizzie will go get a drink of water, but Bucks likes the air vents also. I read recently that you should brush them everyday. It helps with the heat (less fur), also less to vacumn up too. They enjoy the brushing and will lay down and almost fall asleep.
Penny doesn't care much for the heat either. When we had a couple of really hot/humid days all she wanted to do was lay sprawled out on some cool surface. I bought her a small wading pool and to my surprise she loves it...I was told Corgis aren't big water dogs...but she is constantly in and out of the pool even on cool days.
I got the cooling pad. She spent the bulk of her time trying to rip it to shreds. I heard the vests are better in that they can't really rip it off--but I imagine it would be pretty heavy (the cooling pad was pretty heavy when it was wet.)
i did a quick check online and that vest has received great reviews (5 star average) :) i just wonder if ein would even let me put it on him. lol.
