Signs she is about to start her first "cycle?!"

Said turned 24 weeks (6 months) last week and we plan on getting her spayed. Although; she is currently on medication for Giardi and we were told to wait until she was off her medication to get her spayed. I want to spay her before she starts her cycle since it is said to prevent some cancers.

I heard some corgis start as late as 9 months; but I want to make sure I get Sadie spayed before she starts!

I wanted to know some signs that a puppy may start their cycle for the first time; does anyone have any?

Yes, her nipples will start to swell, her VaJJ will also swell. Frequent urination, some may lose bowel control temporary. She may start to sniff more, urine mark, mood swing...etc.

I am gg to get Keke spay tomorrow. She is 7 mths now and I am worried any further delay she might start her heat :(

I seem to be more nervous then her now.
