I have my corgi girl Pebble for almost 2 months now.
She recently has been doing REALLY well, she does her business on the correct spot (she does her business indoor, because we live in an apartment), listens to commands. She didn't have any potty accidents recently. (it used to be a pain to potty train her)

So... here's my worry. I am moving to a new apartment in 2 weeks and I am afraid that I will need to potty train her all overall again.

The new apartment is a lot bigger than the current one, but I will keep the same setup so my pup won't get confused.

Any idea?

Thanks a bunch!

Hey we just moved to a new, bigger apartment, too!!! The first 48 nights at the new place, Eddy peed a total of 3 times in the house, randomly. We were so mad because we knew it would probably happen but we were just hoping he wouldn't feel the need to mark his territory.. but he DID, grrrrrrr.

After he "made the place his own"... no more accidents. He seemed satisfied. We resumed his normal routine, business as usual. Still going on with successful potty training, he barks at the door during the day, he holds it in at night, etc. I don't think Pebble will relapse back to square one, but I would anticipate some accidents due to excitement and territory. By the way, my dog's almost 6 months, thought you might want to know what stage I'm speaking from. My advice: Don't break her routine!!
I have had the dog that I'm adopting in a few weeks over on two separate weekends to make sure he and Dakota get along, and he has peed several times each visit, but he slowly stops as the weekend goes on. I think in the excitement of being somewhere new is going to entice dogs to mark their territory because of new smells and sounds, etc. I hope that eventually my new boy will stop marking once he's comfortable, but I think you should anticipate having to reinforce the potty training for a bit. It won't take as much time as it did the first time around, but accidents will most likely happen.
