Ender seems to get really worked up when he sees a reflection of something (anything shiny really, my watch, keys, pots and pans, etc...) and he will start barking at it, especially if the reflection is out of reach like on the ceiling.

Is this unusual? How do I make him stop?

Thanks!

It's not unusual - just never had a dog that would do it to EVERYTHING. They usually figured it out after a quick bark and a sniff. Then gradually learned that it was nothing from then on (usually after the puppy phase).

Im currently teaching my kids to shh when I tell them to because they've started the barking at nothing thing. So maybe this will help you. Just go SHH real loud when he starts barking and correct him the way you usually do. When he starts getting it reward him.

Im unsure how severe it is so this may sound easier then it is hahaha.
