Now that the kid is grown, I usually miss Hallowe'en, but I've always wanted to costume the dogs as Seattle Mountain Search & Rescue dogs:

- red vest with "Seattle Mountain Search & Rescue"
- instead of the traditional St. Bernard's brandy flask under their chin, a little Starbuck's thermos.
