With all our discussions about Corgi behaviors, I wonder if anyone else's dogs have the same "manners" as ours. Kai, my 5yr old has always let out a good old healthy burp after every meal. I assumed it's cuz it's such a long way from his mouth to his belly! Luna, aka Looney Tunes, being the youngest and much smaller than Kai, has much better manners and does not partake in this behavior. Till tonight. Now it seems, it's a family trait. Anybody else's corgi's lettin' em rip after meal time?

LOL That's too funny isn't it??? Charlie quickly outgrew the picky eater phase and sucks his kibble up like a vaccuum cleaner in a matter of minutes. Then, of course, the obligatory belch! : - )
How funny, i was wondering the same thing the other day because I noticed Steve burps after meals or sometimes after he drinks a lot of water. He sometimes gets the hiccups after meals too.....
OMG!!! My dogs burp like longshoreman. Sometimes it's a short, hard belch, sometimes a long drawn out, name speller.
Ours can burp like champions! It's the funniest thing, too. (I have found that if they get into the habit of eating or drinking too quickly, they can belch a good one. And if this is the case, you might want to invest in a brake-fast bowl.) :-)
Kona occasionally lets out a little burp a few minutes after eating. She always looks so sheepish afterwards. If she could talk, I think she would say, "excuse me!"
It's funny isn't it but not all Corgis burp. Ritz sometimes burps after meals but my previous Corgi, Roy never burps. I guess all dogs are different.
Our Lincoln is a healthy belcher! Sometimes we think a human is in the room with us rather than a pup!
Max let's out a good belch after drinking water. When he first came home we actually blamed our son for the burp a few times until we realized it was coming out of the little pup. lol
Yes Lance does burp.....not loud though but if you are standing near him or sitting near him you can hear the burp!! Lance does gobble his food up too.
Just remember to say "Your Welcome" when you little one says "Thank you!" ;)

She does every now and then but its not every time.
Our Corgi, Luna, just came home to live with us last night, but she already let out a big burp after breakfast!
In our house, it's the collie who is a frequent burper. Figures that our only girl would be the rude one, right?
